Why the silence?
1. I feel crummy. I have the flu-like thing that Vickie is fighting and Dan and Bobby are just getting over. Bobby missed a week of school.
2. The final, final 1040 deadline is 10/15. That means when I'm not sleeping, eating or coughing, I'm working.
Bobby's back in school trying to catch up. Dan has his big all-state orchestra audition 10/20, and the preliminary recital Sunday. He's working hard. And Vickie is driving herself as hard as she can, and harder than she should.
I miss hearing from both of you faithful readers, and I'll be back soon.

Oh dear! I KNEW you'd get Dan's cold, I just knew it! I hope you feel better soon. What you can do for fun is to sneeze on any late 1040s that come in. The punishment for late filing.
Note to Vickie: Slow Down! You always do so much. I'd hate to find out that you ran yourself into the ground and got this bug. Then again, you probably have a superior immune system and will sail through this.
Oh, man. I am sorry to hear that everyone is under pressure, under the weather or both.
