Bohemia

Our trip to northeast Iowa last weekend included some tourist driving. We accidentally followed the "Dvorak Highway," county road B-16. Anton Dvorak, the composer, sojurned here; the setting inspired his "New World Symphony". The area, including the towns of Protovin and Spillville, was heavily Bohemian.

Bobby loves to check out the cemetaries, including this modestly-named "Bohemian National Cemetery" outside of Spillville.

Spillville has this gorgeous church.

More tomorrow- gotta run!
