Creative accounting
I don't usually link here to things I've done on the work blog, but I think this post I put up yesterday is pretty cool. I hosted a blog "carnival" of other people's posts on the topic of insurance and risk management. I took a lunch hour walk Tuesday - a gorgeous day - and got pictures of insurance things to illustrate the post. You can walk by at least five insurance companies here on your lunch hour.

Peggy, I think it's more that Iowa just has fewer car thieves and teenage drivers than the big cities. When I moved from St. Louis to Iowa as a 24-year old, the drop in my insurance was dramatic, and quite welcome.
