No new computer yet

The new computer is out of the box, but I haven't started to set it up. I think I may have overindulged when I picked it out - I probably didn't really need a screen that big. Well, there it is.

I am on the board of the Iowa Donor Network, the outfit that collects and distributes donor organs in Iowa. They are good people with a job where heartbreak is another day at the office, as most donations come from tragedies involving younger people. They asked me on because Vickie's mom is a transplant recipient and I'm an accountant. It's a good, well run outfit.

There's a board meeting for IDN at noon, and that will run until three. Rather than race back to the office, I will probably come home and set up the new computer. Tomorrow, maybe, it will be in business.

So why the boat?



It's a cool boat, that's all. We saw it at Grand Marais on our summer vacation.
