Midori and Dan
One exciting item last week: the violinist Midori visited Dan's orchestra. The Des Moines Register has photo gallery and an article on the session.
The picture above is Ray Rongkavilit, an old friend of Dan's from elementary school.

How completely cool that Dan and his fellow musicians got a master class and that it helped immediately. Dan was even quoted in the article!
