Snow again
Yesterday morning the grass was mostly uncovered in it's naked brown glory. Where it still hung around, the snow was mostly in disreputable grey piles where it had been shoveled or plowed aside.
That was yesterday.

How much snow?

This much, so far.
It started yesterday morning, and at 5:30 the radar looks like we still have a ways to go. They shut down the schools two hours early, and all the evening things were cancelled, including a gig of Dans and Rob's Fairmeadows vs. Western Hills chess tournament. The chess thing will get rescheduled.
It looks like I may be able to get the skis out again this weekend!
UPDATE: No school! Sleep in, boys!

No school for us either- miraculously! Waukegan rarely closes and St. Ann's goes the way of the public school. We got freezing rain/slush last night. The temperature has dropped and now it is really accumulating.
Yipee! Snow day!!
