Jazz for the Road
Last night was the debut of this year's Valley Jazz Orchestra, one of three Valley jazz ensembles. Here they play an arrangement of Pat Metheney's "It's Just Talk."
They invite alumni back for this concert, so a lot of Dan's friends who are in college now were there. Dan's Saturn V group played afterwards while the parents and alumni socialized. A special guest sat in:
We hit the road tonight for Thanksgiving, with Grandma Dorothy. We haven't traveled with her since before she got married, so it could be fun, or it could be... an adventure! Dan tours DePaul University tomorrow. Fun!

Is he considering any other lovely small colleges?
It's wonderful to have you all here for the holiday! Peggy, you are welcome to bring your clan next year- though Lake Michigan Diving isn't great in November ;)
