The BB range
Bobby turns out to be a pretty good shot with the BB-gun, even with an unorthodox shooting position.

Today looks to be a big day for Don. He had a good day yesterday, eating well for the first time in several days. If no glitches develop, he may be transferred to Hospice Kavanaugh House on 56th Street. It's a nice facility, and one of the ladies in our office volunteers there. Where the cancer ward is clinical, sterile and businesslike (it has to be), the hospice is cozy and comfortable. It's also much closer to Dorothy's place.
Vickie is frazzled running Dorothy around, as well as doing the usual kid shuttling. Bobby is at Living History Farms day camp this week, which helps - he isn't having to hang out at the hospital. Dan is at Marchmasters Camp all day this week.

I am glad that the boys have fun things going on this week. I know that driving them can be tough on Vickie, but at least they are well occupied. JJ was very jealous that Bobby was shooting and he is not this week. Ben says he wishes you would come and visit and play at our house.
You know I am a big fan of hospice services. I hope the hospice brings some comfort and peace to Don and all.
I sure hope that Don's transfer to this hospice will make things easier for Vickie and her mom!
Bobby's pose reminds me of Gary Cooper in Sargeant York (1941). It's one of my favourite movies of all time.
Retta - yes, it's good that the kids are occupied - Vickie needs all the help she can get. She's pretty tired.
Peggy - Thanks. I think the hospice will be a lifesaver.
And I've never seen Sgt. York. I'll have to try to rent it.
