More pictures from the weekend
Before we headed back home last Sunday, we met Ed, Laura and Meg for breakfast. It's hard to believe my niece is 18 years old!
We then drove to Illinois Beach State Park. Vickie insists we see the lake whenever we get back to Illinois. For a midwestern girl, she really has an affinity for big water. It was a beautiful, clear day, and we could clearly see the Chicago Skyline 40 miles down the lakefront.

It's not so clear here in Iowa right now. Yesterday it was very warm and muggy, and it's storming now. But we need the rain, and maybe it will cool things down. Tonight we go see the Iowa Cubs. Go Cubs!
