Guy Vacation

Dan's Carnegie Hall trip made this year's vacation hard to plan. Vickie was chaperoning, so Bobby and I were the odd men out. We decided to spend a few days in the D.C. area for sightseeing and Civil War exploring. We flew in on Friday Morning, and that gave us some time to stop by Abe's place.

We also visited the new World War II memorial.



We walked the whole way, leading to this result (I know, I've used this picture before, but it's one of my favorites).



We travel again this weekend. Dan is checking out a college, and then we will visit my Mom and the siblings and cousins. Dan's schedule for band makes this the last weekend we can do it this summer. To the road once more!
