Independence Day!
A traditional Independence Day here in West Des Moines. We had a parade, featuring...
The parade also had all the usual parade things, from old cars to Noah's Ark:
But it looks more like Noah's Bratwurst to me.
There were fireworks and a grilled dinner:
and sparklers!

Love the hammock! Looks like a perfect 4th of July picnic.
I'm glad somebody wasn't in the parade so that it could be documented. What good looking smiling faces!
