Prom night
Saturday was prom night for Valley High. Dan took his steady girl, Heather.
A group of 10 went to dinner together at Cafe di Scala in Des Moines Sherman Hill neighborhood. The group came toghether at our house for pictures beforehand.
Then it was out into the rain to start their magical evening.
It was a late night. The school "after prom" at the big local mall lasted to 4:00; then the group retired to Heather's parents house, with Dan finally straggling home at 6:00 am. You can bet he was glad when I woke him up at 10:45 to get ready for the Mother's day brunch.

Dan looks so handsome! The girls, especially Heather look like jewels! I'm sure that you and all the other parents were bursting with pride.
