Michigan Avenue

Usually we stay in the north suburbs (Gurnee) when we visit the folks, but with appointments at DePaul in Lincoln Park, and with Chicago traffic the way it is, we opted to stay downtown in Chicago. So we got to do fun Chicago things, like hang out on Michigan Avenue.

Here is Rob at the famous water tower on Michigan, one of the few buildings to survive the Great Chicago Fire.

Here Vickie and Dan cross Michigan Avenue like they own the place:

The country mice seem at home in the city.

My daughter-in-law was graduated from DePaul. It's a good university. Is this the front runner? No Cornell?
