Orchestral Favorites
UPDATED WITH VIDEO!
They had a big Orchestra competition at Dan's high school Friday night.

Dan's orchestra opened with a Greig piece, a movement from Beethoven's 1st Symphony, and a Dvorak piece.

Afterwards Dan and Heather (a violinist) relaxed in the cookie room.

And just because there's a Dvorak reference, here's a picture of a beautiful church in Spillville, Iowa, that Bobby and I got on our camping trip in Northeast Iowa last year. Dvorak spent time in this village of Iowa Bohemians - real Bohemians, not East Village bohemians - and worked on his "New World Symphony" there.
UPDATE! Video from the concert. Video is shaky, but audio isn't bad.
