Radio silence, explained
Oh, the trauma.
I woke yesterday to find no internet access. After shuffling around awhile, I determined that the Router had died.

Here it is, belly-up. So sad.
So it was off to the Apple store last night for a shiny new Airport Extreme router:

It looks sort of like a doorbell. I was excited that I could hook the computer's music to the stereo, but now it looks like I need another part, an "Airport Express."
Humbug.
Well, I needed to spend several hours screwing around with the computers anyway. We can print again from the Mac Mini in the kitchen. I still haven't gotten the old Windows Dell laptop to play nice with the Macs. I hate when they get sulky...
