Holiday concert!
The Valley concert bands played their seasonal concerts Tuesday night. It's always fun to see Dan in a bow tie (center, back row). Here I think he's playing a timpani.

I love brass bands! You should hear some of the old "Pit Bands" from the days when each coal mine had its own brass band. There are some still lingering on, but their days are numbered.
