The nest refills

After on school year of having no after-school events on our calendar, the empty nest is refilling, and will runneth over for a bit.

On Saturday our roving ambassador showed up with the Colombian envoy.

The Ambassador from Kouvola will assume office when she arrives on Sunday from her prior posting in the wilds of Southern Illinois. I believe her foreign office considers this a promotion.

By the end of next week, we will receive a new visitor from Thailand. It is expected that the other visiting delegates will help introduce her to our strange customs and folkways.

About the same time our wandering envoy will return from his fact-finding trip to Wyoming. If he doesn't bring back some good facts, I will be bitterly disappointed.
