The natural wonders of Camp Tomahawk
There is a beautiful glacial tamarack bog in the middle of Camp Tomahawk. A sample of the exotic flora found there:
Ladyslipper (I think), a fragile and elusive nativeFlag Iris (per Peggy):

and the carnivorous Pitcher Plant:

I didn't notice this until I was looking at the Pitcher Plant photo at home on the big computer screen, but I think it is also surrounded by carnivorous Sundew, another bog plant. Here is an enlarged image of what I think is Sundew from the base of the pitcher plant:

Not stuff I see at work, for sure.

The first photograph is of a beautiful flag iris and not the showy lady slipper. Great photos! I love the carnivorous plants!
