Bear scout!

Last night was a big Cub Scout "pack meeting." All of the Dens get together for awards and rank advancement. Here Bobby participates in the opening flag ceremony





The youngest advancement was to "Wolf" rank. As part of the grisly and savage ceremony, they have to drink wolf's blood. You can tell it's real, it says so on the label:

Bobby advanced to "Bear" rank. The parents get to stand with their scout to receive the Bear badge:



But Bobby has to face the bear in the cave alone.
