Train!

We get a new Governor today. It doesn't happen that often in Iowa. This one is only the fourth in 42 years. There having a three-day gov-fest that includes a special train to Iowa City.

I think the extravaganza is a bit much, maybe because I didn't vote for the guy. Still, it was cool to see a passenger train downtown.






They loaded the passengers at the old Rock Island station downtown. They were supposed to get back at 2 this morning. If they use Amtrak time, they may not be in until tonight.
