Betty's Pies

Some say a trip to Minnesota's North Shore is never complete without a trip to Betty's Pies. In fact, it used to be sort of a tourist dump, with flies and dirty bathrooms. No more.

They leveled the old place and built a shiny new pie place. We felt duty-bound to inspect the pie and ice cream.



The restaurant, pie and ice cream all passed inspection.

But it was worth the stop just for this sign.
