Summertime
Blogger is refusing to upload photos this morning, so no new pictures today. Oh, well.
Last week Bobby and I went to Camp Matigwa, near Boone, for two nights for Cub Scout camp. We slept in our tent in the hot summer weather, but it went well. The downside - we both now have the annoying little summer cold that has also hit the rest of the family. When Blogger is willing to cooperate again, I will send up some Matigwa shots.
Also this weekend we got some badly-needed new furniture. We got a new kitchen table to replace the one we got from Dorothy when we got married 18 years ago. We also got a new bed and mattress for Bobby, replacing Vickie's childhood bed and mattress. I know, we probably could have kept them longer; I hope we aren't being rash here...
And Dan gets a new workdesk out of the deal.
Most fun of the weekend: Bobby and I put a drop of my blood under the microscope. I think I'm an a space alien.
Biggest bummer: Grill Failure. A bad thing in this heat (90-100 from last Thursday through Wednesday). I hope to get the needed part tonight.
More pictures tomorrow, Blogger willing, and less talk.

Speaking of kitchens, how is the Kristan kitchen after the orange water disaster this winter? Is that all sorted out?
You spelled Mitigwa wrong...cutter...
The kitchen is restored. I will need to post some pictures.
