Happy St. Patrick's Day!
It's a good day here. Thanks to a call from another parent, we woke to see Dan and the Marchmasters in the parade in Dublin on Irish television over the Internet. So cool!
UPDATE: Here is a link to Irish National Television coverage of the parade (requires Realplayer, I think). No Marchmasters or Dan, but interesting nonetheless, especially the way the newsreaders switch between Gaelic and English. It also talks about a high school band from Colorado that arrived without their instruments. What a nightmare. But they adapted!
There were 650,000 people at the parade, including a lot of international visitors from a "6 Nations" soccer tournament. What a blast!
