The short and narrow halls of Montezuma
This is one of the old pictures from Vickie's Grandma's basement that Dan scanned into the computer last year. It looks like Wilma didn't want these pictures to just be mysteries to succeeding generations, so she wrote notes. If she hadn't done so, nobody would have any idea what this house meant to anyone.
Montezuma, Iowa is about 45 minutes east of here. I wonder if this little house is still standing.

Those are lovely photographs. Do you think it would be worth a day trip to Montezuma to see if that nice little house on Main St is still there? My Iowa geography has now become fuzzy. Is Montezuma near Des Moines?
