A SCENIC DRIVE
Old friend Peggy blogged a wonderful post about a 100-mile drive to the Scottish Coast. After reading it I was inspired to do the same thing with my seven-mile tax season commute.
So, into the car!

We pull past the Val-Air Ballroom. Ever since Howard Dean let it all hang out there, they've been able to book big-name acts:

Well, at least on April Fools Day.
From there it's a quick hop to Donut King to buy calories for the tax gang at the office:

Then we cruise down Grand Avenue, past Vickie's Mom's apartment building...

And the Guv's place...

We know we've hit Downtown when we pull past the Giant Trowel in front of Meredith headquarters.

We pull up to the office building...

And get to the desk.

I like looking out my window...

But I see a guy with a better view:

But I'd probably get bored with it and read the paper, too.

Gosh your own office (with great views no less) AND a giant trowel. You win.
My scenery (and my post) can't hold a candle to yours. The doughnuts are pretty good, though.
